Our Team
James S. Carr, AIA, NCARB
Jim has over 40 years of real estate, architectural, construction supervision, and development experience. He is the co-owner of the architectural firm, Carr Architecture & Land Planning and a co-owner of the Village Partners Group. He has led the design and development of over 250,000 residential units as an architect and approximately 5,000 units as the architect and developer.
Jim has completed numerous commercial and municipal projects for his clients and his own account. His primary focus has been on planned residential and mixed-use communities and multi-family developments.
Jim is a member of the National Council of Architect Registration Boards, the American Institute of Architects, the National Association of Home Builders. He is currently registered to practice architecture in twenty-seven states.
Owen G. Carr, AIA
Owen has over 15 years of architectural documentation, construction supervision, and development experience. Owen is the co-owner of the firm and has led the design team for the Construction Documentation of over 7,500 residential units throughout the United States and has completed numerous commercial and municipal projects for his clients with a primary focus on planned residential and mixed-use communities and multi-family developments.
Owen leads the firm’s design team and coordinates with a group of engineering consultants from project inception through final turn-over. He also spearheads the company-wide best-practice policies and internal peer review as well as liability compliance.
Owen is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
